Eukanuba is a popular brand of dog food. It is widely sold by most big box retailers, and you can find easily find it online.
However, what we want to know is...is it actually any good?
We analysed 5 different recipes, which look remarkably similar. One has to question whether these different packagings are even worth it.
1. Eukanuba Breed Specific German Sheperd Adult Dry Dog Food.

2. Eukanuba puppy large breed chicken
Fresh chicken (20%), dried chicken and turkey (15% including 9% chicken), maize grits, maize, wheat, fish meal, rice, barley, poultry fat, chicken sauce, dried whole egg, dried sugar beet pulp (2.3%), minerals, fish oil, fish digest, brewer's yeast, fructooligosaccharide (0.24%), mannanoligosaccharide.
3. Dermatosis FP dry dog food. One has to ask why, if the dog has dermatosis, you would feed vague ingredients such as ''animal fat'' or ''fish''.
Dry - Potato, fish meal, animal fat, dried beet pulp (3.9%), hydrolysed fish proteins, dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, sodium hexametaphosphate, fructooligosaccharides (0.39%), potassium chloride.
Wet - Catfish, herring meal, modified potato starch, maize oil, dried beet pulp, calcium carbonate, potassium chloride.
4. Medium Adult Chicken
Dried chicken & turkey (24% including chicken 14%), fresh chicken (16%), wheat, maize, poultry fat, oats, barley, sorghum, dried beet pulp (3%), chicken sauce, fish meal, dried whole egg, minerals (including 0.35% sodium hexametaphosphate), fructooligosaccharides (0.25%).
5. Large breed chicken
Composition: fresh chicken (18%), dried chicken and turkey (18% including chicken 11%, a natural source of glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and taurine), maize, wheat, oats, barley, sorghum, poultry fat, dried beet pulp (2.5%), chicken gravy, maize grits, minerals (including sodium hexametaphosphate 0.34%), fish meal (a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids), dried whole egg, fructooligosaccharides (0.25%, a natural prebiotic), brewer's dried yeast (a natural source of B-vitamins and selenium), glucosamine (from animal tissues) (0.04%).
Having foods packed with wheat, barley, animal fats, modified potato starch, maize grits...cannot be healthy for any dog.
We could stock this food, but won't out of principle. It's not good for your dog.
